Does your email marketing suck? Yeah, mine isn’t great either. That’s why I’m excited to introduce you to this week’s guest, Chris Handy.

Chris is the founder of Fort Worth, TX-based Thinkhandy, an inbound marketing company with a special emphasis on Hubspot (they’re a HubSpot Silver Certified Agency Partner). Whether it’s a free consultation or one of his local Hubspot workshops, Chris is a master of giving away value and serving his potential customers in a way that keeps his sales pipeline full and his business growing.

Join us for this episode as we discuss the tips and techniques Chris has used to build and nurture his email list and how you can do the same in your business.

Email Marketing Resources

During this episode Chris promised a couple of resources he’d provide in the show notes. Here they are!

Essential points on email marketing from this Episode:

  • Focus on a connected strategy through marketing, sales and social media.
  • Train your website to be your best salesperson.
  • The biggest asset a business has is the contact list.
  • Starting from scratch? Start your email list with contacts you already have (ask them first!).
  • Many websites use downloads to build contact lists, but that’s not the only way.
  • Before you clean up your contact list, make sure they’re actually not opening your emails.
  • Dripped content through emails can be your best marketing approach. Use the lead nurturing framework worksheet.
  • Pro tip: Use Post-it notes to help plan your next drip campaign.
  • Determine the frequency and schedule of what works for your marketing campaign and when the client is most likely to open the email.
